From woodstock. For woodstock.

Born here. Built here.

for woodstock.

Woodstock has always been home. I was born and raised here, just like both my parents, and I've been fortunate to grow up surrounded by the people, farms, businesses and community that make this such a great place to live.

About me

My connection to this community started at a young age. I grew up playing youth and high school sports throughout Woodstock, and I continue to stay involved today through adult soccer and summer baseball. I've always believed that a strong community is built by people who show up, get involved and look out for one another.

I also come from a strong agricultural background, with many of my favourite memories and much of my free time spent working on my grandmother's farm. Whether I'm working on the farm, operating my mini excavator or spending time outdoors hunting, I've always had a strong appreciation for the land and the people who work it.

Professionally, I've spent just over five years working for South-West Oxford Township as the Chief Building Official and Drainage Superintendent. My role has given me firsthand experience working with residents, farmers, businesses, developers, and property owners, and a practical understanding of the challenges that come with growth, development, infrastructure and managing our rural communities.

Working for the township has also taught me the importance of listening first, understanding the facts and finding practical solutions. I've seen firsthand how decisions made at the municipal level can have a real impact on people's everyday lives; I believe those decisions should always be made with the community in mind.

I'm not looking to reinvent Woodstock. I'm looking to build on what makes this community great, make responsible decisions about its future, and ensure the voices of the people who call it home are part of the conversation.

Why I'm running

I'm running because I believe I have something valuable to bring to the council table: practical experience, local knowledge and a fresh perspective.

Through my role with South-West Oxford Township, I regularly attend council meetings and provide recommendations on matters involving the Building Code, planning, drainage and development. I've seen firsthand the work that goes into making municipal decisions and how those decisions can directly affect the people who live, work and farm in our community.

My career has given me a strong understanding of the practical challenges facing our city, while growing up here has given me a personal connection to the community and the people who call it home.

I also believe it's time for more younger people to step up and involved in local government. Having different generations and perspectives represented at the council table makes for better conversations and, ultimately, better decisions.

I'm ready to take the experience I've gained through my career and put it to work for our community. I want to listen to residents, understand their concerns and help make thoughtful, practical decisions about the future of Woodstock.

I'm running because I care about this community and I believe together, we can make a difference.
